People affectionately call him Marty , known as Martin Scorsese . Marty is one of the key directors to revolutionize gangster classics , in Hollywood. His films like mean streets , raging bull , Taxi driver and goodfellas were all written and dusted out through the ages. Marty and Robert Di niro's combination proved to be the safest bet at the box office. In one of Martys personal documentary , he has personally thanked Di Niro for helping him come out of the Drug addicted phase of his career and to strart doing the film , color of money. 

                              While Martys earlier works featured robert di niro , his later works featured Leanardo Di Caprio. They both worked together for Gangs of NewYork ,  Aviator , Departed and the Shutter Island ( Filming going on) . In one of martys interviews , he said DiCaprio is even an better actor than Robert Di Niro .
